Flávio, um ator em crise conjugal, volta para a casa da mãe, ao mesmo tempo que prepara uma récita teatral inspirada no livro “A Poética do Devaneio”, de Gaston Bachelard. Desesperado pela falta de palcos para atuar, ele apresentará a obra pelas ruas da cidade do Recife como um manifesto poético. Flávio, an actor going through a marital crisis, returns to his mother’s home while preparing a theatrical performance inspired by Gaston Bachelard’s book "The Poetics of Reverie (A Poética do Devaneio)". Desperate due to the lack of stages on which to perform, he will present the play on the streets of Recife as a poetic manifesto.

In the midst of World War II, a young boy finds temporary shelter in the home of the legendary Albanian war hero Nuredin Doka after fleeing from fascist persecutors who murdered his parents and burned his village to the ground. However, when the same paramilitary unit demands the boy’s execution, Nuredin must choose between his own honor and his family’s lives, questioning the stark difference between personal and collective interests.
