Avanca and CosmoFest Tokyo have successfully collaborated for the past three year, helping to promote the best in short film in Portugal and in Japan. This collaboration will continue next year through a joint film project.

Cosmo Fest was recently granted special status as an NPO from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and its mission is to support and promote independent Japanese Filmmakers in both Japan and abroad through domestic and international film festivals.

The title of this year’s program is "JAPAN TODAY"and is sponsored by the Japanese Embassy in Portugal, and Nemoto Portugal Quimica Fin, Unipesoal, Ldt provides an insider’s look at the real Japan.
