Developing a story and making a film is the challenge that young people of all ages will meet again this year at the 22nd AVANCA 2018 Film Festival.
During July 25-29, two groups of young filmmakers, one between the ages of 6 and 12 and another group aged 13 to 17, learn and experiment to make a film.

The story, the storyboard, the script, the location, the technicians, the actors ... all this during 3 intensive days to feel the environment and the work of a film production team!
What cinema is, how it is made and who does it, are some of the premises for 3 days to use a video camera and explore the image-by-image animation.

The coordination and follow-up is in charge of Ivo Prata, art-educator, actor, technologist and mentor of Cinentertainment. A friend of "Avanca" since 1998, he works with children, young people and adults in informal artistic contexts of natural learning, with a "hands-on" philosophy.
