In the Auditorium Queen Sonja of the Faculty of Architecture of the Technical University of Lisbon, gathered at last Wednesday, May 15, several Portuguese researchers and academics where they discussed the theme "Space Portrayed in Fiction and Cinema Narrative."

In debate was the architecture and design, faced with its experience in film, but also by the course of the urban space of the seventh art and by architecture and design in the film narrative.
The organization invited 2 filmmakers that mark the space of Portuguese cinema in Real image fiction and in animation.

João Viana, an author of several award-winning works, including "Alfama", "Tabatô" and the feature film "The Battle of Tabatô", with which he received an honorable mention at the Berlin Film Festival in 2013.
The director Joana Imaginário was the other invited author. His film "Shadow Woman" was awarded in festivals of Armenia and Portugal.

Intervened by the University of Aveiro, the professors António Costa Valente and João Mota. By the Technical University of Lisbon the professor Carlos Figueiredo, Carlos Ferreira, Leonor Madeira Rodrigues, Susana Oliveira, João Aranda and the researcher Daniela Alcântara. From the Aberta University intervened the professors Maria do Céu Marques and Amílcar Martins, from UTAD the professor Anabela Oliveira, from IADE the professor Ana Margarida Ferreira and the researcher Carlos Costa and finally from Lusófona Universty professor Ana Paula Rainha.

Were also presented films produced by students of Cinematic Narratives of the Architectural and Urban Space of UTL.
